Description
This HO-scale 60-foot flatcar is a ready-to-run model that captures the late-1960s design and is ideal for hauling bulk loads such as lumber and pipe on a model railroad. It arrives decorated and fully assembled, with separately applied end details and a brake wheel, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, a weighted body for steady operation, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for realistic coupling. It’s designed to run smoothly on HO layouts with a minimum turning radius of 18 inches.
Originally introduced to carry bulk loads up to 60 feet, this versatile flatcar became a standard for lumber and pipe service. The model reproduces that practicality with stake pockets to help stabilize loads, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and authentic detailing that enhances realism in freight scenes on hobby layouts.
