Description
Add authentic detail to 1/35-scale Vietnam War dioramas with this U.S. MCI Cartons model kit. The set faithfully recreates the three-part Meal, Combat, Individual cartons used by U.S. forces during the Vietnam era, with enough parts to assemble nine cartons that can be shown either inside their sleeve or removed for display. When built, the nine-carton display measures roughly 200 by 100 millimeters.
Designed for scale-modeling enthusiasts, this plastic kit delivers period-accurate field-supply detail for Vietnam War scenes. The carton construction mirrors real MCI packaging used around 1960, which was widely issued in Vietnam. Each carton held twelve rations, with four cans per ration—an entrée such as meat or spaghetti, crackers, jam, and a dessert—and included an accessory pack with salt, sugar, tissue, and more. The result is a convincing, ready-to-display addition to dioramas of U.S. military life in Vietnam.
