Description
This 1/72 scale plastic model kit recreates the Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero fighter, the Imperial Japanese Navy’s frontline aircraft during World War II. Builders can assemble a historically accurate representation of the A6M2b, a plane famous for its role in the Pearl Harbor attack and the invasion of the Philippines. The A6M2b was designed for carrier operations with folding wingtips, a landing hook, and a radio direction finder, and it boasted a 3,000-kilometer range and 20mm cannon armament that contributed to its famed maneuverability.
Designed for model enthusiasts, the 1/72 scale makes it easy to pair with other World War II aircraft in a display or diorama, while the plastic construction supports detailing, painting, and weathering to capture the Zero’s historic look and feel.
