The Aluminum Pro Pinion Gear is a precision, lightweight drive gear for RC cars, designed to deliver smooth, reliable power transfer when meshing with a spur gear. It features a 1/8-inch bore and 17 teeth in a 48-pitch configuration, making it a solid choice for on-road setups.
Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum and lightened to reduce weight, it is double-coated with a hard black anodize finish for durability. The tooth count is stamped on the gear for quick identification, and a 5-40 set screw is included to secure it to the shaft. Although optimized for on-road use, it can be run off-road in appropriate configurations where lightweight, precise gearing is beneficial.
