Checkmate is a modern beginner quilt pattern using foundation paper piecing to create flowers across a checkerboard background. Layouts for a baby quilt (about 42×51″) , throw quilt (about 60×69″), twin size quilt (about 78×96″) and queen size quilt (about 96×105″) are included.
