Description
HO-scale Kadee No. 5 Magne-Matic metal couplers with a 9/32″ center-mount shank, featuring the No. 634 centering spring, come in a ten-pair pack. These universal couplers deliver smooth, reliable coupling for HO rolling stock and benefit from phosphor bronze centering springs for consistent action and dependable operation.
Designed for HO equipment, they should not be mounted directly to metal surfaces or inside metal draft gear boxes to avoid electrical crossovers. For best results, install in insulated draft gear boxes or use the plastic-isolated No. 28 coupler, which shares the same mounting dimensions as the No. 5. The package includes ten pairs of metal No. 5 couplers ready to upgrade freight and passenger cars.
