Description
An HO-scale Pullman Standard 50-foot boxcar in LS&I livery, road number 2701, reproduced to reflect a mid-1970s era car used in per diem service for realistic freight operations on HO layouts.
Features include a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door, separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and brake wheel, plus a photo-etch cross-over platform for authentic detailing. The model rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for steady running, and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable coupling. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and the overall arrangement is designed for smooth operation on HO tracks with curves as tight as 18 inches in radius.
