Description
HO-scale 50-foot Pullman Standard boxcar in LS&I livery, road number 2708 — a finely detailed model for HO layouts and railfan displays. It recreates the mid-1970s Pullman Standard boxcar design, including the distinctive 50-foot outside-post profile and authentic era styling.
Features include a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door, separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, plus a photo-etch cross-over platform for realistic coupling areas. The car rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for smooth running, and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and the model is designed for HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches. Ideal for completing authentic freight consists on HO layouts or dioramas.
